Morrisons Art Wall is excited to present a collection of artworks by Rebecca Pierce, Nikky Morgan, John Cottrell, Di Taylor and Tracey Keller
This is a free exhibition curated specifically for Morrisons by traffic jam galleries.
Morrison Motors, Managing Director, Alex Morrison is proud to showcase a collection from such a talented artists.
“Morrisons are proud supporters of the arts and we have featured the work of a number of artists and photographers on the Morrisons Art Wall over the years.”
One of the featured artists is Australia's own, Rebecca Pierce who's path as an artist began at the age of four, when she entered her first externally judged art competition. Throughout her schooling she either won or was placed in state competitions and annually received commendation at Sydney’s Royal Easter Show. As a means to fund her studies in law, she began her foray into the Australian fashion market with quirky t-shirt designs. The uniquely Australian prints inspired by the rich colours of the nation, its fauna and flora and well-known landmarks were so well received that what had begun as a sideline project developed into a full-scale operation.
Rebecca’s striking work varies from truly Australian “day at the beach” to stunning floral arrangements and surreal landscapes – all reliant on the vivid unusual colour combinations and the often thick and intense application of paint that often renders the subject almost three dimensional.
To experience Rebecca Pierce's and other aclaimed artists featured on the Morrisons Art Wall visit Morrison Motors, 748 Pacific Highway, Chatswood.
The exhibition is free to view and is open to the public:
Monday – Friday 7:30am – 6:00pm
Saturday: 9:00am – 5:00pm
