Morrisons Art Wall is excited to present ‘Country Notebook’ by Di Taylor.
This free exhibition, curated specifically for Morrisons by traffic jam galleries, contains a collection of works which are a vibrant and passionate take on landscape and figurative painting
Morrison Motors, Managing Director, Alex Morrison is proud to showcase a collection from such a talented artist.
“Morrisons are proud supporters of the arts and we have featured the work of a number of artists and photographers on the Morrisons Art Wall over the years. We’re excited to present these vivid, lyrical works by Di Taylor and encourage locals with a love of art to drop in and view the work for themselves.”
Di Taylor lived in Sydney whilst studying at the National Art School, but soon after college went to live on a remote sheep and cattle property in northern NSW. As a young mother of two, she found a new understanding for the isolation and hardships of rural life.
For 15 years she lived and worked as a farmer’s wife, shearers cook and jackaroo, while continuing to paint and exhibit. Now residing in Perth, it’s clear that Taylor’s time in Sydney and the country have had a lasting influence on her art.
To experience the Di Taylor exhibition on the Morrisons Art Wall visit Morrison Motors, 748 Pacific Highway, Chatswood.
The exhibition is free to view and is open to the public:
Monday – Friday 7:30am – 6:00pm
Saturday: 9:00am – 5:00pm
